Initial EMT-Paramedic

Continuing Education

EMT Refresher​

August 11th, 14th and 20th 2025

Entrance Requirements: Current or former SC or NR EMT, initial student who has failed the NR written three times needing remediation or have a letter of permission from SC DHEC Division of EMS and Trauma.

The book of reference will be AAOS 12th edition Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured.

To receive a certificate of successful completion, participants must attend all sessions, pass the comprehensive written test and pass the in-course skills evaluations.

Paramedic Refresher​​

This program meets the NCCP from National Registry criteria for recertification, as well as remediation criteria for retesting the written National Registry Paramedic Examination.

To Receive a certificate of successful completion, participants must attend all sessions, pass the 100 question written test and pass the in-course skills evaluation.
